My name is Tonya Hunt. My husband, Jason and I had been looking to build a home for some time. We had gone to several different builders to look at plans and pricing and couldn't find a builder or plan that we were hoping for. We finally went to Southwest Homes in Canton, TX. They had so many plans to choose from and the price was right! We decided on the Ponderosa Model. When we asked if we could upgrade and modify a few things to fit our desires, Southwest Homes gladly modified the floor plan to be exactly what we were looking for.

At Southwest Homes we met Linda Stanley (Bink), John Meyeres and John Williams. These folks are the friendliest people you'll ever meet. They all made our home building experience so fun and easy! We could not have asked for anyone better to build our dream home. They did an awesome job and we are very satisfied with our beautiful home. It was such a pleasure to work with each and every one of them.

We had never had a house built before so my husband and I had a lot of questions. Southwest Homes made time to answer any questions we had prior to building. When it came time to build, the Construction Manager looked at every detail. From the time they poured the foundation to the time they handed us the keys, I felt I didn't have to worry about anything because he was on top of things. John M., you are fantastic to work with! Your presence was always noticed and that was very often. It put us at ease knowing you were at our property checking up on things and making sure things got done. And because of that, we always felt that things were taken care of not only to your satisfaction, but to ours as well. You always made us feel as though our home was the only home being built at that moment!

John W., you too, were simply awesome to work with! Phillip and I enjoyed our dealings with you, from the signing of the contract to the very end. You were so down to earth and always pleasant to talk to and eager to please us.

Ashley, Southwest Homes is so fortunate to have you in their front office. You were always so polite and considerate and very patient with all of my questions - and I had about a million of them, didn't I! You treated us like we were your number one priority and did whatever it took to answer all of those questions. You handled so many things for us that it makes my head spin to think of everything that you made sure to get taken care of for our home.

You have great subcontractors working for you. We were only present for a few of them and they were always pleasant. The framers were so polite to us when we were at the site and the electricians were fantastic to deal with, too. The guy I saw putting in our linoleum was very courteous as well.

It's hard to believe that we are living in this wonderful home - it's so beautiful! Thank you again, from the bottom of our hearts. It was sincerely a very pleasurable experience having your company build our first home!
